Welcome to a site that is very much under construction. I am TJ Atwell, and if you are reading this, it is likely because you are reviewing a selection of my work as a portfolio for my graduate studies. I am a communication strategist and consultant currently completing my M.A. in Communication at Merrimack College. After more than twenty years in public affairs and federal service, I’m focusing on expanding my consulting practice and applying advanced communication theory to real-world challenges.

This website serves as a portfolio to showcase some of the work and experiences that have shaped my approach to effective, audience-centered communication, combining strategy, creativity, and clarity. Loon Communications is the name I recently gave to the small consultancy I have run under my name since 2018. I am hosting this portfolio in the digital “ground” that will one day be Loon Communications’ website. You can learn more about me and Loon in the About/Resume Section.
